Opening ceremony of the newly constructed building for PILZ in Jintan

Festively decorated, the building was presented itself on 'high polish'. The Pilz family with all their 3 managing directors, as well as the entire management from their headquarters in Ostfildern had travelled to Jintan. In a perfectly organized event the building, which was completed in December 2014 after just 9 months of construction time, was given its official inauguration. The event included an exciting mix of traditional Chinese ceremonies combined with modern show elements. After starting off with a lion-dance and the golden ribbon cutting, a drum show was performed. In his opening speech, the General Manager Mr. Thomas Pilz thanked all the involved companies and persons. Further speeches were held by the Chinese managing director of PILZ, Ms. Rachel Wang, and local authorities, like the Mayor and members of the local industrial zone. A chain of dominos made of PILZ components was started by the honored guests and opened an aerial view of the new building. In guided tours, the guests had the opportunity to see the entire building in detail.  Later a banquet took place in the beautiful new canteen of the building. The meanwhile hungry visitors could indulge themselves with delicacies from a big Chinese-German buffet. The event ended with classical music by a string quartet especially engaged for this Opening ceremony.
